The Election of our Lives

That's what my co-worker called it this morning, and I have to admit - it DOES feel like one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" moments today. I have never been so excited to cast my vote for president. I thought I was excited four years ago - when I ended up waiting in line over 4 hours to vote. But today is a whole new level of excited! I am so full of hope and optimism for our country. Things need to get better, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like they can. And I am excited to think that I helped play a part, no matter how small.
